Our Message

A. Our Gospel Message Is A Message About God's Purpose: HIS GLORY
A God-centered message that involves a knowledge of who He is (His character as holy and loving) and what he has done (His creation and requirements for mankind).
Acts 17:24-27 “The God who made the world and all things in it. He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things that they would seek God.”
Revelation 4:11 “Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created.”

B. Our Gospel message Is A Message About Our Problem: SIN
A message that describes how sinful we are as human beings and because of sin there are eternal consequences for our sinfulness (eternal death).
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord.”

C. Our Gospel Message Is A Message About God's Provision: JESUS CHRIST
Jesus Christ, Who is the God-man, is the only way to receive eternal life. His life, death, burial, and resurrection is what made mankind's redemption possible.
John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me.”
Acts 4:12 “There is salvation in none else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

D. Our Gospel Message Is A Message about Our Pardon: REPENTANCE & FAITH
Salvation can only be received by turning (repentance) from you sinful lifestyle and by trusting (faith) in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.
Acts 2:38 “Peter said to them, 'Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.”
Romans 10:9 “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

E. Our Gospel Message Is a Message About God's Promise: ETERNAL LIFE
If you will turn from your sin and trust in Jesus Christ then you will receive God's promise of eternal life.
John 5:24 “I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Jim who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.”
I John 5:13 “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life”
